Rain rules at Taunton

Rain rules at Taunton Rain was the order of the day in Somerset

Somerset's Friends Life t20 game against Kent at Taunton was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Umpires Trevor Jesty and Richard Illingworth made the decision after a 6.45pm pitch inspection.

The heavy rain which had fallen during the afternoon had stopped, but the outfield was deemed too wet to play on.

Each team takes a point from the game.
